What we collect
We collect your email address when you create an account. We collect case-related information, documents, notes, and data you enter into LifePlan products. We collect sharing/invitation data (who you invite, what access you grant) to operate the cross-product family network. We collect standard usage logs, error reports, and AI usage metadata (model, token counts) to operate and improve the service. If you subscribe, Stripe collects payment details on our behalf — we do not store card numbers.
How we use it
We use your data to operate the LifePlan service, authenticate you, send transactional emails (sign-in links, invitations, notifications), process payments, and improve our products. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Data storage & subprocessors
Authentication and the shared LifePlan Hub (identity, sharing, invitations, billing mirror, AI usage metering) are hosted on Convex. Product-specific data may continue to be stored in Supabase (Postgres, AWS us-east-1) during the migration. Payments are processed by Stripe. Transactional emails are sent via Resend. Error tracking uses Sentry. Web Push notifications may be delivered through your browser's push service. AI content is processed by Anthropic's Claude API.
Cross-product sharing
When you link or share access across Prose, School, or Care LifePlan, the Hub stores your identity and access grants so each product can enforce permissions. You control who you invite and can revoke access at any time from your dashboard.
AI processing
Some features use the Anthropic Claude API to generate document drafts and guidance. Content you submit for AI processing is sent to Anthropic's API subject to their privacy policy. We log model and token usage for rate limiting and billing, but we do not retain AI processing content beyond what is necessary to complete your request.
Cookies & sessions
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to protect the service. Our authentication provider (Convex Auth) sets httpOnly session cookies. You can sign out at any time to clear them.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. You may export your data from within each LifePlan product. You may cancel your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal linked from your dashboard.
