Terms of Use

Last updated: May 3, 2026

These Terms apply to all LifePath products and services, including Prose LifePath, School LifePath, Care LifePath, and any future offerings (collectively, "LifePath" or "the service").

1. Use of the service

LifePath provides structured guidance tools and content. You agree to use the service responsibly and not to misuse it or interfere with its operation.

2. No professional advice

LifePath is not a law firm, medical provider, or licensed professional service. None of our products - including Prose LifePath (court process guidance), School LifePath (IEP/504 advocacy tools), or Care LifePath (caregiver coordination) - provide legal advice, medical advice, or professional recommendations. The service is not a substitute for a licensed attorney, medical professional, or other qualified advisor.

3. User responsibilities

You are responsible for reviewing information before acting on it and for seeking advice from qualified professionals when appropriate.

4. Content and accuracy

Some content may be AI-generated. While LifePath labels estimates and provides boundaries, the service may contain errors. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LifePath and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

6. User accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these terms.

7. AI-generated content

Some content generated within LifePath products may be produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI) through third-party providers. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should independently verify any AI-generated content before relying on it. LifePath explicitly disclaims any warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI-generated content. AI-generated content is clearly labeled where feasible.

8. Third-party services

LifePath uses third-party service providers to operate, including Supabase (authentication, database, storage), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (transactional email), Anthropic (AI features), and Netlify (hosting, serverless functions). Your use of LifePath is subject to the terms and privacy policies of these third-party providers where applicable.

9. Data privacy

We collect and process information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to our data practices as described therein. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

10. No professional relationship

Use of LifePath does not create an attorney-client relationship, doctor-patient relationship, or any other professional relationship. No content on the service is a substitute for professional advice from a licensed attorney, medical provider, or other qualified professional.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
